We have been producing Star Ratings since 2000 and they now cover nearly 50 separate areas. In the intermediated space, our Star Ratings cover a range of areas across Pensions, Investments – including Platforms and Discretionary Fund Managers – and Life and Protection products.
Star Ratings award a product or proposition a rating of 1 to 5 depending on the quality and comprehensiveness of the features and benefits it offers. A 4 or 5 Star Rating indicates that a product or proposition represents one of the best quality offerings in the market.
Uniquely, we rate the products and propositions not the providers. In addition, we do not assess price in the calculation of Star Ratings.
