To help deal with the current challenges, we would like to update you as follows:
1. Risk Profiling and Risk Rated funds
We are regularly monitoring the performance of Defaqto risk-rated funds. Despite the recent market turmoil, as of the 26th March, less than 2% of funds had breached our "poor market conditions" trajectory. Our risk profiling model assumes there’s a 1 in 20 chance that performance will fall outside those boundaries.
2. Helping you interact remotely with your clients
The world has now moved even more online, including the wider adoption of virtual communication. Defaqto is working on a software update to allow video conferencing to be launched from Engage which will enable you to keep in touch with clients with ease. Further information will follow in the next couple of weeks.
3. Our ongoing service to you
In response to the global Covid-19 outbreak, Defaqto has deployed its business continuity incident management process designed to monitor, assess and respond to situations that have the potential to impact employees, clients, suppliers and other key stakeholders.
We know that people’s day-to-day lives are disrupted and we’re working hard to ensure we provide the best service to you during this period. We’d like to take the opportunity to reassure you that all of our data is being updated daily, as normal and our software, data feeds and services are running as usual. We have robust processes in place to ensure that all business-critical services will continue to run as normal during this difficult time.
This is a very fluid and dynamic situation and our business has well-established home working practices and technology in place, so high levels of homeworking have a negligible impact on productivity. We will continue to proactively monitor the situation - keeping up to date with advice from the UK Government, Public Health England, the NHS and other official sources.
