We're interested in hearing from people with previous financial services and business-to-business sales experience who might want to join one of our sles teams in the future, so we can keep in touch and let you know as and when vacancies arise.

As an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager, you manage and develop relationships with clients and identify sales opportunities for relevant Defaqto products and services (including ratings, software and consultancy) in order to achieve annual revenue targets.

For all our roles, you need a proven track record of b2b sales, ideally selling complex solutions using a consultative sales approach. You’ll also be highly results oriented, with a strong customer focus, excellent sales skills and a collaborative approach. 

To be considered for a role within our Provider and Fund Manager sales teams, you also need experience of key account management and negotiation with procurement departments. It's essential to have a good working knowledge of one or more segments of the UK financial services industry (Banking, General Insurance, Protection Insurance, Pensions & Investments, Funds & DFMs, etc.) , to enable you to quickly build relationships with clients, understand their business needs and offer tailored solutions that provide them with high levels of value. For these roles, we typically offer a basic salary of £35k, plus commission (total OTE=£75k) and a company car/car allowance.

To be considered for a role within our Intermediaries sales team, you don’t need to have worked in financial services or software sales before, but if you have then it would be a definite advantage. In any case, you’ll need to be a quick learner who’s prepared to swiftly develop an in-depth knowledge of how the financial advice market operates in the UK, how our software solutions function and how our software and services support advisers to deliver professional, efficient and compliant advice. For these roles, we typically offer a basic salary of £25k, plus commission (total OTE=£35k) plus use of a shared pool car.

Our sales roles could be home-based, but regular attendance at our office in Haddenham, near Aylesbury, in Buckinghamshire, would be expected. In addition, the roles obviously involve frequent nationwide travel to client premises.
