Presented by the Paul Tinkler, Insight Development Manager, Defaqto. Paul will provide a session, looking at the behaviour of clients at retirement, based upon FCA data, therefore setting the scene for the sponsors further explore the subject of investment income

Steve will present the current income landscape, and why a value style may be relevant for income generation.  Finally you will hear how you can apply a value style across a wide range of assets.

The Inescapable Truths of Income, Retirement and Life, presented by Rupert Rucker, Head of Income Solutions, Schroders.
Our presentation shall address the income challenges of the next 10 years, and reflect on what is important for advisory businesses. We shall also explore an income fund solution that can help you to look great in front of clients, to remain profitable and to stay compliant.

A PROD in the right direction – Multi Asset Investing for an Efficient Financial Plan presented by Nick Webb Head of UK Retail, and Stephen Friel Investment Specialist, UBS Asset Management.
Nick and Stephen will look at how the PROD Rules, taken in relation to the Retirement Risks, can lead to a reset of an Investment model. They will look at how a Multi-Asset Income fund can provide a smoothed income approach to mitigate Sequence of return risk and provide an efficient Financial plan.

    Paul has a broad range of experience and expertise in all aspects of adviser propositions, including risk profiling and management, technology, such as back-office systems and platforms and what it takes to create, develop and run investment solutions.

    Paul has held senior management positions in AXA Life Invest, Sesame Bankhall Group (SBG), SEI, Legal & General and Zurich (both IFA and direct sales). Gaining experience in tied, multi-tied, independent and network business models.  Most recently, Paul has specialised in the design, development and delivery of advisory investment propositions and technology solutions.  Whilst at SBG, Paul played a key role in the launch of the Optimum Investment Management, growing assets to £200m in less than 2 years, from a standing start.

    In his spare time, Paul enjoys the outdoors, taking long walks and cycle rides.
